In this episode Dr Hans Diehl tells us about the first years of the Lifestyle Medicine Movement, back to the days when he was the Director of Education and Research at the Pritikin Longevity Center. We go deep into the transformation, not to say metamorphosis, that health professionals must go through to take what is best from their medical education without inheriting the mindset that health is something that can only happen after the disease appears.

Dr Hans Diehl is the Founder of the Lifestyle Medicine Institute and CHIP, the Complete Health Improvement Program. His books have been translated into 36 languages with more than two million copies in circulation. He earned his doctorate in Health Science and a masters in Public Health Nutrition from Loma Linda University. He has been chosen as “One of America’s 20 Super-Heroes of the Health Movement”
